I am so, so, so glad that my dear bloggy twin, Critty Joy, has taken up this much beloved meme (a favorite little cupcake used to host it, and now that she is currently not blogging, it needed a new home).
Here's what's going on with me....
Lately I've been in the purging, organizing, cleaning, get things in order sort of mood (on the inside, outside and every side)
Lately, I've been praying more.
Lately, I've realized even though sin has held me captive sometimes, I'm no longer a slave to it.
Lately I cannot get enough of Kristian Stanfill's new album Mountain's Move.
Lately I think that good change is coming.
Lately I'm remembering what my passions are.
Lately I'm thinking about what it means to live intentionally.
Lately I've realized that I don't live intentionally.
Lately I've decided that I want to.
Lately I've realized that I'm very indecisive.
Lately I've been thinking snow (it's in the forecast for today, fingers crossed)
Lately I've been wanting a Kindle. Like real bad. Like I'm thinking a tiny bit of the income tax refund I will be getting will be going to said Kindle.
Lately I am so happy that Beth Moore brought back the Siesta Scripture Memory Team this year.
Lately I've been cultivating a thankful heart
Lately I've been thinking that this year I must. have. a. beach. vacation.
Why don't you join us today with your very own As of Late? Link up over at Critty Joy's blog today!
Oooh - forgot it was today! Got something to add to my to-do list! :)
ReplyDeleteI have Kindle envy too. ;)And I LOVE this list.
What a great post, Kara. I love how wide-spread your As of Late is - everything from victory over sin, to realizing your indecisive, to your desire for a Kindle. My brain (and life) works the same way. :-D
ReplyDeleteabsolutely loved your "as of lates"! I LOVE how you wrote on your profile that you love to put exclamation points even into boring sentences....that is SO me!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Kristian Stanfill too! Thanks for the thoughts on living intentionally! We were just talking in church last night that in order to get our priorities where they need to be and to keep them there, we have to intentionally do it.
What a great list! I love this one "Lately, I've realized even though sin has held me captive sometimes, I'm no longer a slave to it." I need to work on remembering that, too.
ReplyDeleteI've also been doing a lot of organizing and stuff. Maybe it's the time of year? It sure feels good to be rid of some things.
Thanks for your visit today :)
Erin
I love your whole stinkin list. Every single thing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
I must say I adore my kindle. I still love books but the kindle has opened a new world...plus with all the free books I have been collecting for months I shall never run out of material to read!
And at 139 bucks one just cannot go wrong. ;)
I hear you on the organising front! My study looks like a bomb has hit.. literally... seriously! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet got in on the Kindle craze.. I'm afraid I still enjoy the smell of a new book too much!
Many blessings!
