I could use a second cup of coffee right now. And a sprinkled donut. Funny, that's what just came to mind. I have no idea why.
1. Which Wizard of Oz character are you most like? I am actually a perfect hybrid of The Cowardly Lion and the TinMan, desperately in need of courage and a heart. Or at least a courageous heart.
2. When you're deciding what you're going to wear each morning, which item do you select first? Why? It's usually more a matter of what's clean and relatively wrinkle free. If I find the top first, then great, if it's the jeans or pants, whatever. Sometimes I'm a little more fashion conscious but that usually means I got more than 6 hours of sleep the night before, of which I haven't been getting lately, so, well, you know.
3. What kind of animal do you think the world could live without? Sharks. And Spiders (I know, I know they're an insect and the world needs them, so maybe if we could just get rid of the deadly ones and the creepy ones, okay?). Done and done. 98% of all my fears have now been eliminated. And I can sleep more than 6 hours a night now! Whew, what a relief to my fashion sensibilities.
4. How many Christmas trees are in your home? If you count the little two foot ones with the fiber optic lights in them I think there are about five. But without them just one.
5. Would you prefer to be emotionless if it mean you didn't have to feel a heartbreak? Absolutely not. God gave us emotions for a reason. I will take heartbreak because joy and delight are emotions I wouldn't want to live without.
6. Do you ever experience holiday let-down or depression? Yes. Pretty much at about 10 pm Christmas night. But then I just get my sights set on New Year's resolutions and all is well again. Until January 5th or 6th and then we just hunker down for spring.
7. Do you like Michael Jackson's music? Oh yes. The man was a musical genius in my book. Strange, for sure, but musically brilliant.
8. Why is it that we never judge people who have their teeth fixed for cosmetic reasons, but every other cosmetic procedure has a stigma? I don't know if every other cosmetic procedure has a stigma or just certain ones. Ones that seem just a little too cosmeticy. Or ridiculous. But smiles make the face and the face is what we show the world so I guess we figure these things are acceptable to take care of.
9. Enjoy horseback riding? Not really. And before you ask I'm not really a horse person, either.
10. Shoes--practical or stylish? Both. But not if you ask my sister (she would never think my shoes are stylish. Hey. I like a good flat. Sue me).
11. What was the name of your first pet? Feel free to post a pic. Rusty. Or Mushroom. I can never remember if the cat came first or the dog. Neither survived long in our house.
12. What percentage of your Christmas shopping is done? I'd say about 62.7% give or take a percent.

Because I know you're in need of more Random Dozen. Go here. You can thank me later.

I love your answer to #1-a courageous heart. Yes.
My youngest daughter has a fascination with sharks and spouts off shark trivia when we need it. She and my hubs want to do that cage thing where you go down and photograph them. No thank you. I'll stay happily on the beach!
Enjoy your day!
Loved reading your Random Dozen. I also love MJ! :)
Your answer to number 1 is exactly what I would have said too :) Twin moment...aka TM ha!
I love a good flat too. I broke my ankle a few years ago (my only broken bone!) and now I stick to flats a lot. They have some cute ones.
The smile makes the face? Thanks, as if I wasn't self conscience enough
I'll stay happily on the beach!
